Yeo Rivers Community Trust is delighted to announce that we have been awarded £20,000 from The National Lottery Community Fund to support our Wellbeing, Wildlife & Water project. This funding will allow us to expand our work improving river health, restoring natural habitats, and strengthening biodiversity throughout the Yeovil area moving forward into the year 2026.
The grant will also help us deliver more community-focused activities, supporting local people to connect with nature, learn new skills, and take part in positive environmental action. By working together with volunteers, partners and residents, we aim to create healthier waterways and a stronger, more resilient environment for wildlife and for our community.
We are extremely grateful to National Lottery players for making this funding possible. Their support helps organisations like ours continue protecting local rivers and delivering meaningful change.
