Exciting news!

From the 1st June we will officially be known as Yeo Rivers Community Trust.
Did you know that we currently work in roughly a ten-mile radius around Yeovil, from our work with the Cam Catchment Resilience Project (CCRP) in the Upper Cam, to our work with the Wriggle River Improvement Group (WRIG) in our catchment’s headwaters in West Dorset?
Our new name reflects that our work is not geographically limited to Yeovil and surrounding villages, but extends throughout South Somerset and West Dorset (and beyond!).
Welcome New Team Members
We are also delighted to welcome three new team members during this period of growth:
Joel Mukanhairi – Apprentice Media Assistant
Mareike Beyer – Assistant Catchment Interventions Officer
Josie Cooper – Assistant Ecologist and Monitoring Officer
New Website Launch
We’ll also be launching our new website shortly after the name change. The updated site will include features such as an events calendar and more regular updates on our Natural Flood Management projects.
Keep an eye out for further announcements!
