Having fun learning about Dodham Brook! As part of Oaklands Primary Year 4's rivers project, we visited the school back in January to talk to the children about our work in Yeovil and the importance of water in the environment.
In February we then welcomed Year 4 to YEOVIL COUNTRY PARK or a tour of the restoration work we've been implementing along Dodham Brook. The children played eye-spy, spotting all the different habitats we've enhanced and pretended to be a river to learn how water & wildlife moves along different channels. We also kept our eyes peeled for water vole, kingfishers and those pesky invasive terrapins!
