Spotted in the Country park - American Mink!
This non-native invasive species may look pretty but they are skilled predators, targeting many of our native species, including fish, ground-nesting birds and water vole!
We have several colonies of water vole living in locations across Yeovil, including the country park. If you've spotted an American Mink, we want to hear from you. Send us a message on Facebook or email us at info@yrct.org.uk
