Have you noticed the work happening at Dodham Brook from the Ninesprings weir and along the concrete channel? We're working with a team of contractors to bring life, colour and sound to this uninspiring concrete section of the brook.
To achieve this, we are installing a combination of natural features to enhance our river and create new habitats that reconnect Dodham Brook with the River Yeo, which it joins downstream of Newton Road. These features are creating a functioning ‘blue corridor’ which allows wildlife to move freely between areas.
Our works will be completed over the next two months so stay tuned for updates and more photos!
