Schools & Youth Group Partnerships
We are pleased to collaborate with schools and youth groups in and around the Yeovil area.

Education Programme
Book a visit from the YRCT team to present one of our education modules. We currently have two modules on offer, aimed at Key Stage 2 children.

Water and You! Learn more about our relationship with water and why we can’t exist without it. With plenty of interesting facts about water, we’ll look at water resources, the water cycle, our water footprint and safety in and around water.
Water Habitats Discover the different water habitats in the UK and the wildlife that call them home. We’ll learn why these habitats are important for us and the planet, and talk more about the habitats were are helping in and around Yeovil.
We have designed our modules to be as interactive as possible for children and each module includes a practical activity.

Field Trips
Arrange a field trip, tailored to different age groups to visit one of the sites we work at in and around Yeovil.
An opportunity for pupils to learn about the work we’re undertaking locally and take part in a fun and educational activity, including, for example
- river invertebrate kick sampling
- pond dipping
- water quality testing
- botany survey

School Partnerships
We have several partnerships with schools in the local area, helping to enhance pond and wildlife areas.

If you are a teacher or leader of a local youth organisation and would like to know more about our education programme and the costs involved, to arrange a field trip, or to find out how we could partner with your school, please get in touch with a member of the YRCT team at info@yrct.org.uk
